Mr. Barzideh is a member of the U.S. investment team and joined SVP in 2016.
Prior to SVP, he was with BlueMountain Capital Management as a senior investment analyst since 2012 where he led the firms investments across a range of industries with a focus on distressed debt and special situations. From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Barzideh was at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. where he also focused on distressed investments as part of the firm’s proprietary distressed credit trading group.
He received a BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Accounting with Summa Cum Laude honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Mr. Barzideh is also a CFA charterholder, and is on the Board of Directors of GenOn Energy and PureField Ingredients.
