Mr. Bartlett is a member of the North American investment team and an operating professional.
Prior to joining Strategic Value Partners in 2022, he spent 7 years in portfolio / operating partner roles, first at Lone Star Funds, and then at Anchorage Capital. In these roles, Mr. Bartlett focused on growth and operational improvements in distressed or dislocated investments in consumer retail, building products and business services companies. He also drove business diligence on new investments and monetized control investments, both via private sales and IPOs. Previously, Mr. Bartlett was at McKinsey & Company focused on growth strategy and transformation implementations. Earlier in his career he worked in investment banking and middle market private equity.
Mr. Bartlett holds a Master in Business Administration from The Wharton School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Operations Research from Columbia University.
