Ron Plazek

Ron Plazek is an accomplished finance and sourcing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Sourcing at Swagelok since August 2013, Ron previously held various positions at the same company, including Director of Global Sourcing and Director of Operational Accounting. Prior to joining Swagelok, Ron held the title of Director of Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics at PPG Industries from June 2011 to August 2013, and worked as Controller for Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings from October 2005 to June 2011. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, OEConnection, and Newell Rubbermaid - Rubbermaid Home Products, as well as an early career position as Associate Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand. Ron attained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Purdue University between 1985 and 1989.
