Dr. Neeraj Gupta

Dr. Neeraj Gupta is an accomplished academic and medical professional currently serving as an Associate Professor at Swami Rama Himalayan University since August 2019, after a tenure as an Assistant Professor. Prior professional experience includes a role as Medical Affairs Manager at GSK from February 2017 to March 2019, where responsibilities included providing medical and scientific support, strategic management, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Dr. Gupta also held lecturer positions at Monash University Malaysia and International Medical University, focusing on medical and dental education. With a PhD in Neuropharmacology and Behaviour from the University of Otago and an M.D. in Clinical Biochemistry, along with a Bachelor's in Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Gupta has a solid foundation in both research and clinical practice. Early career experiences include residency at Maulana Azad Medical College and a PhD research project that explored the role of polyamines in memory and learning in animal models.
