John Bera

John Bera is an experienced professional in emergency management and public safety, currently serving as the Associate Director of Public Safety at Swarthmore College since June 2020, while also working as an Adjunct Faculty member at Delaware County Community College since November 2016. As the owner of Bera Emergency Management Consulting, LLC since March 2016, John offers a range of services, including the creation and editing of emergency management plans and hazardous materials transportation consulting. Previously, John held roles such as Director of Campus Safety at Ursinus College and Hazardous Materials Transportation Coordinator for the Delaware County LEPC. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Philadelphia University and a Bachelor's Degree in American Government and Politics/International Relations from Ursinus College.
