Michelle D. Ray

Michelle D. Ray is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Associate Dean and Director of Case Management at Swarthmore College, where responsibilities include overseeing the Diversity Peer Advisor Program and promoting gender equity as the Interim Title IX Coordinator. With a strong background in student services, Michelle has held various roles at Swarthmore, including Dean of the Senior Class and Acting Assistant Dean of the Office of Student Engagement, as well as working as a consultant at the Historic Belmont Mansion and Underground Railroad Museum. Michelle also teaches grant writing as an Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Philadelphia and has an extensive history in student intervention and community service management from previous roles at the University of Pennsylvania. Michelle D. Ray holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
