Nick Hannon

Nick Hannon has extensive experience in information security and product management, currently serving as the Director of Information Security and Senior Information Security Architect at Swarthmore College since September 2006. Hannon oversees all aspects of computer and network security for the college community, ensuring compliance with various regulations including Gramm-Leach-Bliley, HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI. Prior to this, Hannon founded F. T. Knoxx Computer Security LLC, where consulting services included detailed risk assessments. Hannon held senior roles at CNT/McData as Senior Director of Product Management and at INRANGE Technologies as VP of Engineering, managing engineering departments and driving product strategies. Earlier career experience includes positions as Senior Technical Manager at Telenex and Development Manager at IBM. Hannon holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
