Bethany Smith

Bethany Smith, FSMPS, CPSM, currently serves as the Director of Communications and Creative Services at SWCA Environmental Consultants, leading a team focused on digital marketing and content creation. Previously, at Energy Systems Group, a strategic marketing plan was developed to enhance brand presence and manage impactful digital campaigns. As VP of Marketing & Corporate Communication at Messer Construction Co., Bethany implemented a successful social media strategy that significantly increased engagement and audience growth. Experience at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP involved managing business development efforts, while earlier roles at Turner Construction and Oswald Company focused on marketing management and business development. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University and completed the Leadership Advancement Program at the University of Maryland.
