Sophie McLaughlin

Sophie McLaughlin is an experienced professional in the field of garment technology and production, currently serving as Supplier Compliance & Production Manager at Sweaty Betty since June 2018, after holding roles such as Quality Assurance Manager and Garment Tech Manager. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Freelance Garment Technologist for New Look and as a Freelance Senior Garment Technologist for TOPSHOP TOPMAN, where responsibilities included product development, fit sessions management, and chemical compliance. With a decade-long tenure at TOPSHOP, Sophie advanced from Assistant Garment Technologist to Senior Garment Technologist, leading teams and specific projects. Initial experience includes a student placement at Philips Design focused on wearable electronics, complemented by a BSc in Clothing Design and Production from De Montfort University.
