Andreas Webster

Andreas Webster serves as the Global Head of Loans & Syndications at Swedbank AB since September 2017, leading a pan Nordic origination team across various industry sectors while participating as a permanent member of multiple commercial committees and working groups. Prior experience includes a significant role in Loan Capital Markets - Origination at BNP Paribas since February 2009, overseeing corporate loan origination for the Nordic region, Russia, Israel, and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as managing the analyst team in Loan Syndications since 2013. Prior to BNP Paribas, Andreas held the position of Head of Syndicate and Sales in Loan Syndications at BNP Paribas Fortis and led the Leverage Finance Syndications at Nordea, where a high-performing team was developed to focus on LBO transactions. Educationally, Andreas holds a Norwegian Law degree from the University of Oslo as well as a strategic business analysis qualification from the Norwegian School of Management BI, complemented by training from the Royal Norwegian Navy officer Training Program.
