Girish Wani

Girish Wani is an experienced Agile Product Owner at Swedbank since June 2019, overseeing the Mainframe development platform with 12 tools and 13 developers while creating a Mainframe Modernization roadmap to enhance DevOps practices. Prior to this role, Girish served as a Project Manager at Accenture from October 2010 to July 2019, managing client services for OP Bank's Channels and Customers portfolio, leading a team of 27 onshore and offshore resources, and facilitating the transition of 55 applications. Earlier experience includes positions as a Technical Team Lead at IBM, where Girish contributed to transformation projects, and as a Software Engineer at Syntel, focusing on requirement analysis and development. Girish holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University and VPPCOEVA and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in IT Project Management at Stockholm University.
