Jonny Cato is an experienced politician and public servant with a notable background in migration policy and governance. Currently serving as a member of the authority's advisory board at Migrationsverket since 2021 and as a Member of Parliament for Sveriges riksdag since September 2018, Cato has also held significant roles in various committees focusing on migration and anti-racist initiatives. Previously, Cato was a member of the parliamentary migration committee at the Ministry of Justice and chaired the Health and Care Committee in Helsingborg. Additional experience includes serving as a lay judge at the Administrative Court in Malmö and a board member of the Skånska Tidningsföreningen.
