Stefan Joneland has extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various government agencies. Currently serving as Biträdande regiondirektör at Migrationsverket since October 2016, Stefan has previously held positions such as Tf. Biträdande regiondirektör and Sektionschef at the same institution. Prior to this, Stefan worked at Säkerhetspolisen as Sektionschef and held the role of Analytiker & Gruppchef at Polismyndigheten. Stefan's career began in the Försvarsmakten as an Officer. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Lund University, an Officer degree from Militärhögskolan, and additional studies at Umeå University and Linnaeus University.
