Maria Persson

Maria Persson currently serves as the Technical Operations Product and Program Management Director at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB since October 2020, overseeing tech ops product leadership. Prior experience includes a 23-year tenure at AstraZeneca, where roles spanned from External Manufacturing Director to Supply Chain Quality Lead, and various managerial positions in quality assurance and process technology. Maria holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has additional qualifications in Pharmacology and Galenic Pharmacy from Luleå University of Technology and Uppsala University, respectively. Further academic development includes studies at the University of Warwick.
