Cameron Bethke has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry and heavy equipment sector. Cameron is currently working as an Associate Director of Project Management at Swift Current Energy since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at EDP Renewables from 2017-2022, where they held various roles including Sr. Construction Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Associate Construction Project Manager, and Technical Project Engineer. Before joining the renewable energy sector, Cameron worked at Halliburton as a Field Professional, specializing in Wireline and Perforating from 2014-2017. Cameron also had experience in project planning and engineering at The University of Alabama and Central Texas Heavy Equipment.
Cameron Bethke obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Alabama, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Cameron has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Blaster's License from the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, as well as a license to possess, use, process, export and import nuclear materials and waste, and handle certain aspects of their transportation from the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In 2014, Cameron completed the Well Control - IADC training from the Well Control School, Helicopter Underwater Egress Training from the Marine Survival Training Center, Rig Pass certification from Safe Gulf, and Smith Driving certification. In 2015, they also obtained SEMS II Awareness Training and the Explosive Safety User In-Charge certification.
