Laura Crowe

Senior R&D Scientist at Swift Solar

Laura Crowe joined the Swift Solar team in February 2022 as an R&D Scientist. Before joining the Swift crew, Laura was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University/SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory investigating the correlation between crystal structure and operational stability of metal halide perovskite solar cells using synchrotron X-ray characterization techniques. Laura received her PhD from the University of Freiburg in Germany in 2019, conducting her research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems. Joining Fraunhofer ISE in 2008 was when she discovered her passion for renewable energy and research and when she abandoned her path to becoming a math and physics teacher.
