Simon Dubber is the current Finance Manager at Swindon Academy. Prior to this, Simon worked as the Financial Controller for Alvan Blanch Development Company Ltd from June 2015 to December 2016. In this role, Simon was responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function, including monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and other forecasting, VAT and corporate tax, maintaining the nominal ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, liaising with bankers, auditors and other third parties, and dealing with a wide range of ad hoc tasks as required.
From August 2014 to November 2014, Simon worked as Interim Financial Accountant for Crest Nicholson plc. In this role, Simon was responsible for all aspects of the financial accounting side of the monthly management accounts and reporting pack submitted to Group Finance. Simon was also involved in the preparation of the year end figures and reports during their time in this role.
Lastly, from April 2015 to June 2015, Simon worked as Interim Financial Accountant for The Bible Society.
Simon Dubber has a BA (Hons) in Economics from Nottingham Trent University, and A Levels in Mathematics and Geography, 8 O Levels from Portway Comprehensive School in Bristol.

Swindon Academy, which opened in September 2007, was the first all-through academy in the country. We operate from two sites, one in Pinehurst, which caters for pupils from aged 2 through to 18, and one in Penhill, which caters for pupils aged 2 through to 11. We are proud to provide excellent educational facilities on both of these sites.
