Mathijs de Wit

Mathijs de Wit is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the venture capital sector, currently serving as Managing Partner at Newion, a prominent European B2B SaaS & Cloud early-stage VC based in Amsterdam since January 2012. Previously, Mathijs held the role of Investment Manager, focusing on new investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies. In addition to this role, Mathijs is actively involved as a Board Member for several companies, including airfocus, Alleo, LegionellaDossier, Parloa, Salonkee, Objective Platform, Deliverect, and SwipeGuide, alongside serving as a Board Observer for REXai. Mathijs holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has a VWO degree in Natuur&Techniek from Augustinianum, as well as secondary education from the International School of Hamburg.
