Jeroen De Maat has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Jeroen most recently worked at SWISS KRONO GROUP, where they held the positions of Head of Group Treasury & Insurance and Group Accountant and Treasury Specialist. Prior to that, they worked at The Dow Chemical Company, serving as Credit Manager DACH and Associate Accounting Manager, among other roles. Jeroen also gained valuable experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate in Transaction Services and an Associate in Audit. Throughout their career, Jeroen has been involved in various financial and accounting responsibilities, including financial statement preparation, ERP system integration, M&A projects, and external audits.
Jeroen De Maat completed their education at various institutions. In 1999, they enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they pursued a MsC degree in Finance, Accounting & Auditing and Controlling. Jeroen successfully completed this program in 2005. Concurrently, in 2001-2002, Jeroen attended ESSEC Business School for a Mercator Master in Business degree. Following this, they returned to Erasmus University Rotterdam and earned an RA degree in Register Accountant from 2005 to 2008. Lastly, they completed their education at the same institution by obtaining an RC degree in Register Controller, spanning from 2007 to 2011.
