Marc Bucher

Marc Bucher has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Marc most recently worked at Swiss Life AG as the Head Group Qualitative Risk Management starting in September 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Swiss Re for 14 years in different roles, including Head ORM Competencies & DOO, Head OR Methodology & Reporting, and Senior Op Risk Manager. Before Swiss Re, they were an IT Audit Manager at Ernst & Young from 2001 to 2004, and also held the same position at Swiss Re from 1996 to 2001.

Marc Bucher earned a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of St.Gallen, completing their studies between 1989 and 1996. Marc also obtained additional certifications, including an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from AICPCU in 2006, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A) from ISACA in 1999.
