Anja Grujovic-Vischer currently serves as a Senior Emerging Risk Manager and Senior Economist at Swiss Re since September 2020. Previous experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CEMFI from May 2018 to August 2020, and as a Research Consultant for the World Bank Group in early 2018. Anja held a role as a Research and Teaching Assistant while completing a PhD at the University of Geneva from March 2013 to February 2018. Additional roles include time at Princeton University as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator, and various positions at UNAIDS and the Overseas Development Institute. Anja holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Geneva, a Master’s in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Geneva.
