Melissa Wang is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Vice President and Procurement Manager for East Asia at Swiss Re since July 2019, Melissa oversees the procurement for IT categories including hardware, cloud services, and SaaS. Prior roles include APAC Sourcing Manager at Refinitiv, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing for the Technology Categories following the rebranding from Thomson Reuters. At Thomson Reuters, Melissa led sourcing for various technology sectors across 13 APJ countries. Previous experience includes Strategic Procurement Manager at HP, managing logistics and print production, as well as sourcing activities at Symantec and Beyondsoft. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Trade from Xi'an University of Technology.
