Andrew Bartsch began their work experience as an intern at Bartle Bogle Hegarty in 2009. Andrew then worked at Mindshare as a Senior Associate, where they managed advertising investments for American Express. Andrew'srole included leading advanced TV efforts and conducting competitive analysis.
In 2012, Bartsch joined American Express and held various roles, including Product Manager and Senior Product Manager for the Global Mobile App. Andrew delivered scalable enhancements to the app and launched new features such as installment plans and native onboarding journeys. Bartsch also worked as a Director of Product Management, overseeing global mobile app development.
Currently, Bartsch serves as the Senior Product Director for Digital Products at Swisscard AECS GmbH, starting in 2022.
Andrew Bartsch completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Williams College from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they also attended the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth. Andrew has also obtained a certification in JavaScript Development from General Assembly in November 2017.

Swisscard AECS is a joint venture between Credit Suisse AG and American Express. Swisscard AECS is the only company in Switzerland to offer the world leading credit card brands American Express, MasterCard and Visa from a single source, in the name and on behalf of Credit Suisse AG. Customers managed by Swisscard AECS have the largest choice of credit card products on the Swiss market. Thanks to the different product ranges, customers can put together a personalized combination of cards. Swisscard AECS was established as a joint venture between Credit Suisse AG and American Express in 1998. The company handles product development, sales and marketing, customer service and card processing in Switzerland on behalf of the card issuer Credit Suisse AG. As a merchant acquirer, Swisscard AECS is also responsible for expanding and handling the American Express network of points of acceptance in Switzerland. Swisscard AECS combines the strengths of its two parent companies in the credit card business, with American Express being the global leader as far as card management is concerned and Credit Suisse AG owning strong national sales channels. As a merchant acquirer for American Express, Swisscard AECS’s job is to guarantee that the customers can use their card wherever they want all over Switzerland. SIX (formerly Telekurs) and Aduno are primarily responsible for acquiring MasterCard and Visa in Switzerland.
