Gary Barber

Gary Barber is a highly experienced technical support and engineering professional with over two decades of expertise in various engineering roles. Currently serving as Technical Support Manager and formerly Site Engineering Manager at Swisslog since May 2020, Gary has a strong background in team leadership and performance management. Prior experience includes Engineering Manager and Senior Process Engineer at Philips, where responsibilities encompassed the management of engineers and technicians, as well as the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques. Gary's career began in the Royal Navy as an Electronic/Electrical Engineer, followed by a role as Telecommunications Engineer at British Telecom. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and a GCSE in Electronic Engineering from Farlingaye.
