Nowell Outlaw

Nowell Outlaw is the current CEO at Switchfly. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Vidado from July 2018 to May 2021. There, they successfully turned around, expanded, and completed another successful M&A exit of a $50M/Series C SaaS/AI startup based in Oakland, CA - in less than 24 months. Nowell refocused the core product, re-branded the company, and expanded the go to market strategy. Nowell achieved this by pivotting the company from a Services and Software business, into a true SaaS company. This grew ARR revenues by 65%, reduced cash burn by nearly 200%, reduced FTE headcount and restaffed across the organization, and transitioned margins from 40% to 70%. All customer growth was with large enterprise organizations (insurance, financial services, healthcare) adopting machine learning and our SaaS solution for processing millions of transactions per year. Nowell completed a successful M&A transaction process, with acquisition by SS&C.
