T Evonne (Sis. Nau-T) Williams serves as the Founding Director of Doshe Healing Arts since December 2010, focusing on safety and self-defense, group facilitation, and program infrastructure development. Additionally, T Evonne holds various positions at Swords to Plowshares, including Program Manager, Housing Specialist, and Employment Specialist. Prior experience includes case management roles at Operation Dignity, East Oakland Community Project, and Fred Finch Youth Center, where T Evonne supported veterans and families in transitional housing. T Evonne's earlier roles involved advocacy for homeless women and children, and youth in transitional programs, alongside experience as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force. T Evonne holds an Associate’s Degree in Sociology from Laney College and has pursued education at California State University - East Bay, Los Angeles City College, and West Los Angeles College.

For over 45 years, Swords to Plowshares has provided direct services for low-income, homeless, and at-risk San Francisco Bay Area veterans regardless of era of service or discharge status. They are one of the few organizations in the country that provide free legal consultation and attorney representation to veterans seeking assistance with the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and military discharge upgrade cases.
