Sycamore School
Jean Wright is an experienced educator currently serving as the lead teacher for 6th-grade ELA classes and assisting with 8th-grade ELA classes at Sycamore School since March 2019. Jean has also worked as a self-employed reading and math tutor specializing in lower elementary education, utilizing Orton Gillingham methods since January 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a substitute teacher, teacher assistant at Sycamore School, owner of M3 Photography, and sales and marketing manager at Support Net. Jean holds a Gifted and Talented Licensure from Ball State University and a Transition to Teaching degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, along with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature and Communication from Purdue University.
Sycamore School
Sycamore School exists so that academically gifted children can experience the enriched, accelerated education they need to reach their potential and to lead responsible, constructive, fulfilling lives. Sycamore is one of few schools in the nation, and the only private school in the state of Indiana, where all academics and activities are designed for gifted kids preschool through eighth grade.
