Sycamore School
Timothy Kasper currently serves as the Middle School Coordinator and Math Teacher at Sycamore School, where responsibilities include teaching Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, and Foundations of Algebra since May 2016. Prior to this role, Timothy worked as a consultant and Director of eLearning for Crown Point Community School Corporation, overseeing professional development from July 2013 to August 2016. Timothy has also held positions as an Online Math Instructor and Course Creator for Indiana Online Academy, teaching Algebra I and Geometry, and designing a course on Personal Financial Responsibility from July 2008 to July 2016. Earlier experience includes a long tenure as a Mathematics Teacher at Franklin Community School Corporation, where technology-enhanced instruction was implemented. Timothy has contributed to teacher training for the Common Core Transition through a brief stint with CIESC and provided tutoring services at Sylvan Learning. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Ball State University.

Sycamore School exists so that academically gifted children can experience the enriched, accelerated education they need to reach their potential and to lead responsible, constructive, fulfilling lives. Sycamore is one of few schools in the nation, and the only private school in the state of Indiana, where all academics and activities are designed for gifted kids preschool through eighth grade.
