Simon Delens has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Simon started their career as an Engineer in training at Heidelberg Materials, where they gained experience in the concrete and aggregate business. Simon then moved on to roles such as Project Engineer, Business Development Manager, and Commercial Director, where they were responsible for strategy, sales, marketing, and logistics across multiple markets in Africa. Following this, Simon worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant before joining Meuse et Sambre SA as a Board Member. Simon then joined Solvay, where they held roles in marketing, sales, and pricing excellence. Currently, Simon is working at Syensqo as the Head of Product and Asset Management.
Simon Delens received a Master's degree in General Management from Vlerick Business School in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Civil Engineering at Université catholique de Louvain from 2004 to 2009. In 2008, they also pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile for a brief period of time.
