Jekaterina Viktorova began their work experience as a Student Assistant at DWI - Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials in December 2011, where they worked until May 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Masters Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich from April to September, and concurrently held a role as an R&D Engineer at is it fresh GmbH from April 2016 to June 2018. Later in 2016, they became a Research Scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich from November 2016 to September 2017. Jekaterina then joined The Australian National University in February 2019 as a Doctoral Student, and also worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator starting from April 2019. Their most recent role is the Chief Executive Officer at Syenta (Spark3D) since March 2022, where they are focused on transforming the electronics manufacturing sector using an innovative fabrication method.

Jekaterina Viktorova began their education in 2010 at RWTH Aachen University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Jekaterina successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. Subsequently, Jekaterina continued their academic journey at RWTH Aachen University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from 2014 to 2016.
