Eelco Ebbers, currently the Chief Executive Officer at Symeres, has a wealth of experience in the field. Prior to their current position, Eelco served as Managing Director at MercachemSyncom. Eelco co-founded Mercachem in 1997 and held the position of Managing Director there as well. Eelco obtained their PhD in Organic Chemistry from Radboud University, where Eelco also previously earned their MSc in Chemistry and BSc in Organic Chemistry. Eelco's research during their PhD focused on Racemization and Asymmetric Transformation of alpha-substituted carboxylic acids.
