Frederik Verstraeten is a Senior Scientist at Symeres, specializing in the development of scalable and safe processes for the production of small molecules for the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Prior to this, Frederik worked as a PhD researcher at Hasselt University, focusing on the development of high-performance ultra-low bandgap copolymers for near-infrared photodetectors. Frederik also completed a R&D internship at Alcami Corporation and holds a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
