Karsten Hartvigsen has a strong background in scientific research and analysis. From 2016, they have worked as a Scientist at Symphogen. Prior to this, they served as a Research Scientist at Novo Nordisk from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for daily planning, analytical results approval, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Karsten also has extensive experience as a Postdoc, having worked at the University of Copenhagen from 2011 to 2015, the Medical University of Vienna from 2010 to 2011, and the University of California, San Diego from 2001 to 2010.
Karsten Hartvigsen completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from DTU - Technical University of Denmark between the years 1990 and 1995. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the same institution from 1996 to 2000.
