Stephen Choi, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer at Synagro since June 2025, Stephen previously held the position of Controller at Apex Companies, LLC from July 2021 to June 2025. Stephen's career also includes significant tenure at the Washington Football Team from 2009 to 2020, where responsibilities included Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President of Corporate Controller, and Vice President of Finance. Earlier experience includes roles at PwC from 2004 to 2009, notably as a Senior Associate in Transaction Services and a Senior Assurance Associate. Stephen Choi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, earned between 2000 and 2004.
