Miles Davis is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in architecture and software development. Currently serving as Director Of Architecture and Principal Engineer at Synamedia since October 2018, Miles focuses on enabling global service providers to deliver and monetize video content effectively. Previously, a Principal Engineer and Technical Director at Cisco Systems from 1998 to the present, Miles also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Nortel from 1996 to 1998, specializing in embedded software for PSTN technology. Earlier career experience includes working as a Graduate Engineer and Software Engineer at GEC Marconi from 1990 to 1996, developing embedded software for defense systems. Miles holds a BSc in Computer Science from Brunel University of London, achieved between 1990 and 1994.
