James Beck is currently the VP of Engineering at Synapticon, where James also holds the position of SOMANET Engineering Manager. With a vast experience in engineering, James has worked on developing sophisticated motor controllers and software for distributed networks. James has a strong background in robotics engineering, with experience in designing trajectory algorithms and working on robotic arm simulations. Their education includes a MS in Robotics and Control Engineering from Columbia Engineering, a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a BA in Communication Design from the same university.
