Hal Laughlin

Hal Laughlin has extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), most recently serving as the Leader of GRC at Synchronoss Technologies from June 2018 to December 2023. In this role, Laughlin was responsible for overseeing the corporate-wide GRC information security function, ensuring operational and technical security controls met certification requirements. Prior to Synchronoss Technologies, Laughlin held significant positions such as Leader of Audit Data Analytics and Application Auditing at CIT, where advancements in data analytics were prioritized, and as Director of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk at Dun & Bradstreet, where technology-related internal audit functions were led. Earlier career experiences include Audit Manager at Alcatel-Lucent, focusing on internal audits and compliance evaluations, and as Oracle Senior Manager at LSI Corporation, where Laughlin managed the implementation of HR systems on the Oracle ERP platform. Hal Laughlin holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Florida State University.
