Angie Hu

Angie Hu is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Synchrony since September 2018, Angie Hu develops strategies that enhance the brand's storytelling and supports executive leadership on various initiatives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as corporate social responsibility. Prior experience includes leadership roles at IBM Foundation, where Angie Hu directed global communication campaigns, and positions in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, where responsibilities included press relations and media strategy. Angie Hu began a career in communications as a research associate for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and held production roles at NBC and ABC News. Angie Hu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Cinema and Media Studies from Wellesley College.
