Brian Abry

Brian Abry serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at Synchrony since August 2014, where leadership encompasses the business development team for both overarching company initiatives and the Retail Card segment specifically. Prior experience includes a Vice President position at GE Capital, focusing on payment solutions and private label financing, and a similar role at Citi involving private label and co-brand credit card business development. Prior to that, Brian held the Director of Business Development position at Transamerica and served as Manager of Commercial National Accounts at SPS Payment Systems, leading a team that managed significant sales in credit card programs. Brian began their career as a Sales Representative at Boise Cascade Office Products after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
