Joel Chon

Joel Chon is a student at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering, expected to graduate in May 2026. Joel has gained valuable experience through internships, including a Data Science BLP Internship at Synchrony focusing on customer engagement analytics and a role as a Data Analyst Intern at Regeneron, where a KPI tracking system was developed to enhance the material destruction process. Additionally, Joel participated in Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program Externship to gain insights into the financial services industry and worked as a Business Operations Intern at Andrena, streamlining onboarding processes and analyzing employee transaction records. Joel's work at the Innovation, Design, & Entrepreneurship Academy at Rutgers involved supporting tasks related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
