Lisa Durnford

Lisa Durnford has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Lisa is currently working as the Head of Compliance, Canada at Synctera. Previously, they served as a Board Member at Gradient Spaces. At Wealthsimple, they held several positions, including Director of Compliance & Product Risk, Senior Manager of Regulatory R&D, and Manager of Regulatory R&D. Lisa was also a Board Member at Bridge School and Ample Labs. Additionally, they participated as an Activator at SheEO™ and worked as an Associate in the Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Office at BMO Capital Markets. Lisa has also served as a Strategic Advisor at Venture Out and as a Board Member at Raising the Roof | Chez Toit. Lisa has been actively involved in Start Proud - Fier départ, where they co-chaired Venture Out and contributed to content and programming.

Lisa Durnford completed their education with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Medical Science in Physiology from Western University in 2011. Lisa is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
