Benjamin Gerdes

Benjamin Gerdes currently serves as Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Global Communications at Syndio, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Communications at Tom Steyer PAC and as Senior Press Secretary during the Tom Steyer 2020 campaign, where Benjamin managed national messaging and conducted numerous media interviews. Additionally, contributions at the Climate Action Campaign DC involved strategic planning and campaign coordination to influence climate legislation. Previous communications leadership roles also include working on the Donna Edwards for U.S. Senate campaign and serving as Press Secretary and Chief Leadership Aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. Benjamin Gerdes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
