Melanie Davila

Melanie Davila has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Melanie'smost recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer at Syndio, where they began in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead at Syndio from January 2021 to December 2021. Melanie also held a role as a Software Engineer at Syndio from September 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining Syndio, Melanie worked as an Associate Computational Scientist (Software Engineer) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from May 2017 to July 2019.

Melanie also gained experience as a Research Study Assistant at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from October 2014 to October 2016.

Melanie Davila obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Genetics, with a minor in Public Health, from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2016 and 2017, they attended App Academy, focusing on Computer Software Engineering. Alongside their education, Melanie also completed various certifications including becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance in August 2019, a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in November 2017, a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine in November 2015, and obtaining Heartsaver CPR AED certification from the American Heart Association in August 2015. Additionally, they completed Laboratory Safety Training through Rutgers Environmental Health and Safety (REHS) in February 2011.
