David Sewell

David Sewell is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Synechron since January 2022, David leads digital transformation initiatives for banks, asset managers, and insurance companies globally. Prior to this role, David acted as CTO at Citihub Digital from May 2001 to January 2022, where expertise in IT advisory was utilized to promote best practices across various technology domains. Earlier positions include CTO at Ybag, where David oversaw a reverse auction retail platform, and Head of Trading Technology Architecture at Accenture, specializing in investment banking technology. David began an impactful career in IT engineering and architecture at J.P. Morgan, focusing on trading technology solutions. David holds a Master’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
