David Hepler

David Hepler is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and market insights across the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as SVP of Business Insights, Strategy, and Market Development at Syneos Health since July 2017, David drives growth through market development strategy, intelligence, and data analytics. Prior to this role, David held significant leadership positions at inVentiv Health, including Global Head of Commercial Business Development Strategy and Operations, and SVP of Strategic Planning and Operations. David's earlier career includes a long tenure at Pfizer, where responsibilities spanned from Vice President of Strategic Policy to Vice President of Planning and Business Development. David began as a Pharmacologist at DuPont Pharmaceuticals, leading a neuropharmacology lab. Academic achievements include an MBA from Duke University and advanced degrees in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University.
