Peter Chemello is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy management and policy analysis. Currently serving as the DER Platform Operations Manager at Synergy since February 2018, Peter leads the orchestration and optimization of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) assets, developing operational strategies and managing stakeholder engagements. Previous roles at Synergy include Project Stream Lead and DER Product Owner, focusing on technical integration and value creation from DER. Prior to joining Synergy, Peter worked at the Department of Treasury WA as a Senior Policy Analyst, providing policy advice through research and modeling. Peter holds degrees from The University of Western Australia and Macquarie University, and is associated with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
