Mark Dollar has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions. Mark'smost recent role was as the Chief Executive Officer of SYNLAB UK & Ireland, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at SYNLAB UK & Ireland from March 2017 to December 2020. Mark also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at iPP - Integrated Pathology Partnerships from March 2017 to January 2021.

Before their roles in the healthcare industry, Mark worked at Virgin Care, where they held several positions. Mark was the Regional Operations Director from April 2016 to March 2017, responsible for managing a diverse mix of clinical and non-clinical services within the company. Prior to that, they served as the Registered Manager of Integrated Dermatology Service from March 2015 to March 2016, where they implemented and managed a new integrated out-of-hospital service. Earlier in their career at Virgin Care, Mark held the role of Head of Strategic Projects from October 2012 to March 2015 and Head of Operations from August 2006 to October 2012.

Mark also has a background in the British Army, where they served for nine years as a Major in the Household Cavalry Regiment. Mark'sresponsibilities included roles such as Troop Leader on operations, Adjutant of both Household Cavalry and Household Cavalry Mounted Regiments, and Operations Officer within UK Divisional HQ.

Mark Dollar attended the University of Reading from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Land Management (Surveying).
