Akeel Auckloo

Akeel Auckloo is a highly experienced professional in application engineering, currently serving as Senior Application Engineering Manager at Synopsys Inc since July 2025. Prior to this role, Akeel held various positions at Ansys from June 2017 to July 2025, culminating in Senior Application Engineering Manager. Akeel's earlier experience includes a Research Associate role at the University of Sheffield, focusing on novel radiation thermometry and thermal imaging, along with post-graduate research in low noise electronics. Akeel earned a Ph.D. in Low Noise Electronic Circuits for Photodiodes and Avalanche Photodiodes, as well as an MSc and BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
