Dan Tran

Dan Tran is an accomplished ASIC Digital Design Engineer currently employed at Synopsys Inc since October 2022. Previously served as the Electrical Documentation Lead for the University of Calgary Solar Car Team from September 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included scoping and writing technical documentation for the electrical team. Dan's experience also includes a role as a Student Software Developer at PCL Construction from June 2020 to August 2021, contributing to full-stack application development within Agile teams. Additional internships with Weyerhaeuser include an Engineering Intern position focused on digitizing engineering drawings and a Forklift & Industrial Cleaning Operator role to maintain equipment and quality control. Dan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, completed in 2022.
