Martin Tobias

Martin Tobias is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in managing teams and applying data science methodologies across various industries. Currently serving as a Sr. Manager at Synopsys Inc since September 2019, Martin leads efforts to enhance sales and operational audits through data analytics and provides predictive modeling expertise to the Finance Department. Prior to this, Martin held the position of Director of Data Science at HCA Healthcare, where responsibilities included overseeing a team that developed machine-learning products to improve patient care across over 170 hospitals. Martin's career also includes significant roles at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, NATO C3 Agency, and various engineering positions at IronBridge Networks and BBN Systems and Technologies. Educational credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University.
